    Cheap sushi always friendly and always a great meal! It's not too expensive and you get a ton of rolls for your money! We love it!

    Thank goodness for Sakura! It is the closest sushi restaurant to Carlinville. Otherwise, to grab a roll, I would typically drive an hour. Sakura has outstanding sushi. Personally, I recommend the Pink Lady or Colombia rolls, but the entire sushi menu is great. The only downside is the price; I would usually spend between $60 and $70 for dinner for two.

    The food was decent for a place that is in a more rural setting. Unfortunately, there is no hibachi in the common sense where there are tables where a chef cooks at. If anything, I would have given it 3 stars. The thing that really got me was the service. She didn't even try to be nice. Maybe she had an off day or something was going on, but it seemed like even ordering was a huge bother to her. Never had our drinks refilled. Never was asked if we needed anything else. No clarification on menu items. This wasn't a language barrier issue, either. It was disappointing to say the least, and when I am back here in the area, I don't think I will be back again.

    Best sushi I have had in a 50 mi radius. Beats wasabi in e-ville hands down.

    Amazing place, my wife and I have been going there for years.... very good and affordable.... would gotten 5 stars but the younger red head waitress is horrible.... love the food and the atmosphere.
